Hi! My name is Shannon. I am a RN (Registered Nurse) and an
IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant).

I have 25 years of experience working in a local hospital
where I started off my career as an Adult Heart Nurse
on the Telemetry unit for a few years before moving on to the
Newborn Nursery/Neonatal Intensive Care "NICU" Unit.

It was during my years of working with newborns that
I discovered the specialty of lactation and decided to
train to become a Lactation Consultant. I attained
my Lactation Certification in 2008 and have
maintained my private practice since 2010.

Although no longer still working for a hospital, I am training
the next generation of RN nurses at a local nursing college
where I am a member of the teaching faculty. 

All of my professional services (including Breast Pump Rentals)
are provided, By Appointment Only, from my Home Office
located within Bryan's Eastside Historic District. 
 ​
I have 17 years of board-certified experience managing all kinds of
clinical lactation cases from the simple to the most complex!

   *BY APPOINTMENT ONLY*

Most appointments are completed Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
(Evening or week-end
options when needed.)

Illness-Control Announcement:
   In accordance with the CDC's  considerations for  "lactation services during in-person lactation visits":
   1) Appointments for persons ill and/or recently directly exposed to a serious illness will be rescheduled or completed via remote telecommun-ication until no longer defined as contagious. 
   2) In-person consultations will be limited to not more than two, healthy,  adult persons with the breastfeeding infant during a visit.
   3) Every person aged 2 years and older may wear a mask if desired.
   4) Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate cessation of a visit whether completed or not.
